District-wide / Department
Programs
The
Focused Quality Review
Do you ever wonder about the quality of your program
or that out of district placement? Would you like clear, realistic ideas
on how to help your program improve?
The Focused Quality Review
provides you with real information that goes beyond the scope of traditional,
minimum standards approaches. Our consultants will rate your program against
the Autism Program Quality Indicators
and our own Critical Skills Indicators.
Your program gains a functional picture of its quality
and a map for improvement.

The Critical Intervention
This service is designed for the student with
Autism or Asperger's whose program has collapsed
or run into serious trouble.
The student may have been suspended. Behavioral problems may be
preventing learning. An Interim Alternative Educational placement
may have started. Our team will examine all aspects of the program,
develop a plan,
and implement strategies to help resolve
the issue and get student and program back on track. (Due to the
intense and time consumptive nature of this intervention, only a
very limited number are available during any school year.)

Classroom/Program Consultation, Training, Coaching, and Development Package
This new service provides a complete school year program. We start
early in the year with training designed for your site. We provide skilled
consultation and coaching throughout the year on an agreed on schedule.
The number of visits ranges from five full days through thirty visits.
Each visit concludes with Rapid Notes Reports,
which offer practical suggestions and ideas that can be implemented quickly
and targets for the next visit.
At the end of the year, a final report is developed and the school has
the option of selecting our three-day Asperger's/Autism
seminar to wrap up and plan for the coming year. In addition, any
district that has contracted for this package receives two free parent
information and training sessions.
This package provides training for staff, ongoing development and implementation
of that training, confidence for administrators
in the quality of their program, and
gains for students. While this service
represents a "package" of services, it is custom
designed for each participating district. It may include one classroom
and team or a number of classrooms or programs.
